What is SOBER Meditation?
SOBER Meditation helps us to create space between external stimuli and our own internal reaction to said stimuli. It’s in this space we gain perspective and can therefore make better choices.

As my relationship with alcohol continues to evolve, I feel confident that whatever use disorder I was grappling with 12-18 months ago has eased considerably. But I remain ever vigilant. And I believe one of the best ways to iron my resolve in this matter is to calendar several sober months throughout the year.
To be sober, to me, means sobriety in all things. And I’ll know when I arrive because I’ll finally be free. Truly.
When we work to accept impermanence we begin to realize that the past is already gone and the future is not guaranteed. So we stop giving the past and the the future so much of our attention. We stop living there. We embrace the present and savior it precious fleeting nectar.
One of the first things I noticed after I drastically cut my alcohol intake was an overall improvement in both the quality and quantity of my sleep. Within a few weeks of quitting pot, I was once again enjoying vivid dreams. Today I am better rested and happier as a result and I believe this new mindset contributes powerfully to my sober lifestyle. So how can you sleep better?
