Day 85 – Holy Smokes They Are All Smoking Pot!
Yesterday I successfully navigated a minefield of wafting pot clouds. I passed up pipes as they were passed around. And I steered clear of the abundant imported beers. Win. Win. And WIN.
Yesterday I successfully navigated a minefield of wafting pot clouds. I passed up pipes as they were passed around. And I steered clear of the abundant imported beers. Win. Win. And WIN.
This led my to a consideration of card games as a proxy for predetermination. If we consider that the act of shuffling the cards randomizes their order and therefore determines how those cards are dealt and/or later drawn, there is little doubt that shuffling ultimately influences the outcome of the game.
Having survived the gauntlet of the dual threat of cold beer in the fridge and pot smoke filling my house, I feel like I’m up for any challenge!
I’ve written about this whole sugar and ‘addiction transfer’ problem previously. For the past several weeks, it’s been a pretty big crutch for me. As I’ve mentioned in prior posts, I never considered sugar swapping to be a long term solution.
